Carlisle Business Centre is a not for private profit organisation based in the heart of Manningham offering office accommodation, meeting space, training rooms and an events hall suitable for a range of business and social events. As well as being home to 90 businesses, social enterprises and charities, Carlisle Business Centre is also a local hub of community activity and welcomes up to 1000 visitors a week.

We are currently looking for 4 people to join our diverse and dynamic staff team:

Administrator, £17772, pro rata 
16 hours a week (includes 1 – 2 evening meetings a month)

Responsible to our CEO, you will be responsible for ensuring that minutes are recorded, produced and distributed in an accurate and timely manner, observing the confidentiality requirements of the ABL and ACL boards and committees. You will also prepare tenant leases and provide administrative support to the CEO

We’re looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and administration skills, previous experience of taking minutes and dealing with confidential information

Caretaker, £14,625 pro rata
23 hours a week

Responsible to our Operations Manager, you will work with our existing caretaker to keep Carlisle Business Centre secure, safe, clean and in a good state of repair. 

We’re looking for someone who is self- motivated and who has previous experience of this kind of work.

Customer Services Representative £14,046 (pro rata)
15 hours a week
Responsible to our Operations Manager you will be part of our team that provides excellent reception and customer service support for tenants, and meeting and events customers, ensuring that all customer expectations and requirements are met and, where possible, exceeded.

We’re looking for someone who is personable with a good telephone manner and face to face inter personal skills, an excellent communicator and with good all round administration skills 

Enterprise Coach, £28,485 - £30,153 pro rata
15 hours a week (potential for increased hours going forward)

Responsible to our Community Business Coach, you will facilitate the start-up and development of successful businesses by coaching, and supporting existing and potential entrepreneurs in Manningham and neighbouring areas, using the local network of support to help entrepreneurs overcome any obstacles to their development.

We’re looking for someone who has at least 2 years of working with businesses and individuals (one to one) of all ages and diverse backgrounds and with business skills in one or more area e.g. marketing, management, business planning, Human Resources, production etc.
