Vote: My Manningham - Lets Clean Our Sreets!

We are fed up with the rubbish in our streets and we want to change that! We will work with other local people and organisations who have already committed to do their bit and inspire others bringing people together to make Manningham a cleaner, more attractive place to live giving us back a sense of pride in our Community - we are ‘My Manningham’.

We will work with local people, Priestley Academy Trust Primary Schools, One in a Million Free School, Manningham Housing Association, Incommunities, local take-aways and the Council’s Clean Team. We will co-ordinate everyone’s effort and publicise activities through our local networks. Activities will include litter picking, gardening, tip trips, sharing information with neighbours on how to how to get rid of mattresses and fridges, reporting fly tipping, promoting recycling and encouraging businesses to dispose of their rubbish properly. Alongside the activities we’ll also run learning sessions in local schools, youth clubs and community centres. We’ll also have competitions and award prizes for the ‘Cleanest Street’, ‘Recycling Champion’, and ‘Best Garden’.
