"We have been tenants at CBC since September 2012. We were attracted by the affordable and secure facilities provided. The building is of a high standard with excellent parking facilities for our clients.

The centre provides office space for all sizes of businesses which is attractive to us if and when we find ourselves expanding the business."

Call Specification Recruitment

22nd May 2019

Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Call specification recruitment
Bradford Council, Carlisle Business Centre, Cnet and the Bradford Central Local Action Group (LAG) have been successful in their ESIF application to deliver the CLLD Strategy for the area. This will bring up to £6 million to support the regeneration of the Manningham, City and Great Horton wards, focusing on the 20% most deprived areas within these wards, through developing a 5-year strategy and overseeing activity that creates a healthy and resilient local economy.

The Bradford Central CLLD LAG will play a key role in ensuring the programme is delivered effectively.  The LAG comprises residents, business people, and voluntary and public sector workers from across the 3 wards and has been working hard with partners over the last 2 years to secure resources for the area.

Now resources have been secured, work will start in earnest. The LAG is currently seeking to fill vacancies in its membership. We are looking for new members from the business, resident and the third sector. Individual residents wishing to be a member of the LAG must live or volunteer in the Bradford CLLD area.  Businesses wishing to be involved must have their head office / main base in the area.
