Bradford Central CLLD LAG Member Recruitment

27th March 2018

Bradford Council, Carlisle Business Centre, Cnet and the Bradford Central Local Action Group (LAG) have been successful in their ESIF application to deliver the CLLD Strategy for the area. This will bring up to £6 million to support the regeneration of the Manningham, City and Great Horton wards, focusing on the 20% most deprived areas within these wards, through developing a 5-year strategy and overseeing activity that creates a healthy and resilient local economy.

The Bradford Central CLLD LAG will play a key role in ensuring the programme is delivered effectively.  The LAG comprises residents, business people, and voluntary and public sector workers from across the 3 wards and has been working hard with partners over the last 2 years to secure resources for the area.

Now resources have been secured, work will start in earnest. The LAG is currently seeking to fill vacancies in its membership. There are currently 5 vacancies; 3 business people and 2 residents. The LAG is particularly keen to hear from people from Great Horton.  Individual residents wishing to be a member of the LAG must live or volunteer in the Bradford CLLD area.  Businesses wishing to be involved must have their head office / main base in the area.
Everyone wishing to be a member must be willing to be an ambassador for the Bradford CLLD area and sign and adhere to the LAG Code of Conduct.

For an expression of interest form please contact: Penny Cusdin at Carlisle Business Centre, 60 Carlisle Rd, Bradford BD8 8BD
Expressions of interest forms must be returned no later than 5pm Tuesday 10th April 2018
