"MWC has been at the Carlisle business centre for four years, the factors influencing our decision to move to these offices were: location, ample parking, tailored service packages, size of offices available and the ongoing help and support from on-site staff, which is why we recently moved to a larger office within the complex.
The atmosphere here is informal, vibrant yet professional and the management team are always on hand. CBC continues to be an extremely flexible and practical base for our organisation.
We have no hesitation in recommending CBC to anyone who’s looking for a cost effective and efficient office in Bradford."Muslim Women's Council
The Bradford Doulas Project trains community volunteers to work with vulnerable, pregnant mums, with the aim of improving the well-being of both mum and baby. Volunteer Doulas support mums from two months before delivery to around six weeks after.
Since the birth of the project, 26 volunteers Doulas have been trained through the Open College Network and have since provided assistance to 40 mums. The volunteers receive on-going training on drug/alcohol awareness, genetics, relationships and consanguineous marriage to ensure their support techniques are always up-to-date.
Funded through City CCG and Big Lottery Fund
